In previous seasons we have had the pleasure of hosting Duke of Edinburgh expedition camps, PGL, Taleblazers, and Scout camps at Treacle Valley campsite.
Numerous other clubs and groups choose to camp with us here, and we would be delighted to welcome back to the Treacle Valley campsite, the schools, climbers, walkers, deaf groups, motorcyclists, sailors and budding tennis stars of the future who brought us their interesting stories from afar.

Treacle Valley campsite is a traditional camping ground that’s situated on a working farm. Here, holiday campers & glampers can enjoy being surrounded by rolling Devonshire countryside and open woodlands.
Treacle Valley campsite is located in the village of Daccombe, which has easy access to the Southwest coast path, the John Musgrave Heritage Trail, and the Dartmoor National Park, and is an ideal location for walking holidays. Dartmoor National Park can be seen to the west from Treacle Valley, and to the south we have Torbay’s amazing coastline, places to eat out, boat trips, entertainment, water sports, local pubs and wonderful beaches that are steeped in history. We politely request campers arrive before 9.30pm, but we do not have any fixed check in or check out times, and we do not close the gate at night so if you have a problem in your journey you can still come in and set up camp. (Please register in the café the next morning). We have an open field site without pitch markings, so you may choose any spot for your tent as long as you leave a car sized gap between yourselves and the next tent.

We always allow the possibility of groups camping together, even with separate bookings. Please find a spot big enough for your group on our open field. Everyone is asked to choose their own spot here because we do not have pitch markings.
