Babbacombe Water Sports is run from Oddicombe beach in Babbacombe, which is just down the road from St. Marychurch, and there is plenty to do for all the family there.
Oddicombe beach sits within Babbacombe Bay and is generally sheltered by prevailing winds by the high cliffs leading up to Babbacombe Downs.

Babbacombe Corinthian Sailing Club clubhouse, is located at the bottom end of Fore Street in St. Marychurch. Their boat house is on Oddicombe beach. They sail dinghies at this club, and sailing takes place off Oddicombe beach in Babbacombe Bay on Tuesday evening, and Sunday mornings.
This is a lovely little sailing club and if you get the chance whilst on holiday, you should pop down for a sail, or go into the clubhouse for a drink. You’ll be made very welcome!

Sea Kayak hire is also located on Oddicombe beach. Here you can hire kayaks & stand-up paddle boards (SUP’s) and pedalos too.

Café Rio SUP & Kayak Hire is located on Maidencombe beach which is a lovely-sheltered beach which is just along the South West coast path from Watcombe beach.

Ansteys Cove water sports SUP inflation service is run from the beach café at Ansteys cove. Ansteys cove is generally very sheltered from prevailing south-Westerly winds, and an ideal, safe place for children to explore the waters of Torbay.

Royal Torbay Yacht clubhouse is right on the harbourside of Torquay and has a spectacular view of Torbay. Sailing in Torbay bay is fantastic!
The club has mixed sailing fleets including PY cruisers, sports boats, PY dinghies and strong junior fleets. Sailing for the dinghies, cruisers and sports boats in on Wednesday evening. On Sunday morning, the sports boats & cruisers sail, and for the dinghies and juniors they sail on the Saturday afternoons.

Soak Lifestyle is located on Torquay’s main seafront, Torre Abbey Sands beach.
At Soak Lifestyle you can hire SUP’s, kayaks, snorkels and even wets suits. If you’re camping with us in a group, then Soak can also accommodate group booking too.

Paignton sailing club has the largest dinghy fleets in Torbay. Sailing from Paignton is always fun, even the harbourmaster gets involved and helps out. A lovely sailing club, and visiting sailors are always made welcome.

Brixham Yacht Club is right on Brixham harbourside in Brixham. The club sails keelboats on Thursday evening and Sunday mornings. Brixham yacht club also has a Brixham Junior Sailing Club which sail on Tuesday evenings. After sailing, the clubhouse is really welcoming and serves great food and great local ales.
